IMPERATIVES (EMİR CÜMLELERİ)


AÇIKLAMALAR:
  • Emir cümleleri olumlu ve olumsuz olarak iki şekilde kullanılırlar. Soru şekilleri yoktur.
  • Positive Imperatives (Olumlu Emir cümleleri)
    Olumlu emir cümleleri fiil ile başlar.

    Sleep eight hours a night.
    Drive your car carefully.
    Have breakfast every morning.
    Drink more fruit juice.
    Eat vegetables.
    Do homework everyday.
    Come here and sit down.
    Open the door. (Close the door.)
    Turn on/off the light.
    Watch the film on TV tonight.
    Get on the car.


  • Negative Imperatives (Olumsuz Emir cümleleri)
    Olumsuz emir cümleleri DON'T ile başlar. (Don't + verb)

    Don't smoke. It's harmful for your health.
    Don't drink too much coffee.
    Don't drive everywhere. Walk or ride a bicycle.
    Don't tell lies.
    Don't drink Alcohol.
    Don't speak Turkish in English lesson.
    Don't miss the train. Hurry up.
    Don't do it.
    Don't cry.
    Don't irritate me.
    Don't touch electric cables.
    Don't walk on the grass.
