ASKING THE WAY

A tourist must carry a map with him to find his way easily. An address or direction can be best shown on a map.A stranger can ask a person passin by for directions if he is lost. A stranger may ask which is the best way to travel to his destination; tram or taxi. A person may use street signs, buildings or roads to help give directions to somebody. If you cannot give the correct directions to a stranger, you could direct him to a tourism information centre. A person may ask for the distance to a certam address and how long it would take to walk there. It would be helpful if you knew the directions to major tram and bus stations in the area.
